This bright and chatty 6-year-old girl was born with Congenital Asplenia, which is the absence of normal spleen function. Sepsis is often the first sign of this disease, and for her, that was certainly the way it displayed itself. As a result, she has had full, or partial, amputations on all four limbs. Her immune system is highly compromised, and she has a high probability of more surgeries as she ages. Because of all four limbs being affected, she uses mobility aides when necessary. Don’t make the mistake of thinking this has slowed her down. This delightful and funny girl is crazy about Harry Potter, horses, Shopkins, and American Girl dolls, and we know she’s going to love her trip to Universal Studios Florida where she can immerse herself in Hogwarts Castle, Hogsmeade Village, and Diagon Alley.
