What is a SubChapter?

SubChapters are groups of committed volunteers, consisting of a Coordinator and committee, within a specified area of the province, whose main responsibility is to assist the Society in revenue building (fundraising), awareness/promotion and, as the need arises, wish applications.

We are looking to establish SubChapters in the following areas:

• Lethbridge
• Ft. McMurray
• Red Deer
• Cold Lake
• Medicine Hat
• and points in-between!

If you're a self starter, work well with others, have some free time, and would like to help make a special wish come true for a child with a chronic or life-threatening illness, we'd love to hear from you. Click here to fill in our information form.

A few hours a month is all it takes to put a smile on the face of a special child within your community or area.

Once the volunteer Coordinator position is filled we will plan for a volunteer information/orientation evening in the area.

Some of the districts are quite large and will be split with boundary changes and new SubChapter development as interest dictates.
