This is one of The Rainbow Society's major fundraising events in Grande Prairie, and, with your help, we would like it to be even better than it has been in past years.

The event begins on September 12th, with a fun-filled evening of wine, chocolate, and a caddy auction! All registrants are invited to attend and vie for the privilege of purchasing a caddy for their team to use for the tournament the following day. Caddies are volunteers from various protection services organizations and high-profile gentlemen from the community.

The next morning at 9:30am the ladies will begin their best-ball, 9-hole, tournament play with a shot-gun start.

Once the last of the golfers are back in the clubhouse there will be a gourmet lunch, lots of silent auction items, awards, draws, and a bit of talk from the podium.

In 2010, our tournament attracted 120 golfers and netted more than $30,000. In addition to your support helping us to meet our fundraising goal, this tournament will offer your business significant exposure to a wide variety of potential and existing clients or customers. By utilizing e-mail, mailers, and a variety of social media opportunities, this golf tournament appeals to and is attended by Grande Prairie and area female business leaders. A majority of these women participate, not because of company influence, but because they believe in the program and wish to personally contribute through this "fun" fundraiser.
