19th Annual Trail Ride

Details
The 19th Annual Trail Ride
has been set for Sunday, August 22nd 2010, at the beautiful Central
Staging Area of the Cooking Lake - Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area near North Cooking Lake. This event was
started in 1992 to grant a wish for a young boy who had cancer. Since then this event has raised over
$155,000.00!
Last year, we had 41 riders enjoying sunny skies and raising an impressive $12,250!
This year we hope to raise $14,000.00 at a cost of $350.00
Registration
Best Western Denham Inn & Suites, Leduc, will again be providing a complimentary continental
breakfast, which will take place between 8:30 - 9:30 am.
Registration begins at 9:00 am with the
ride commencing at 10:00 am.
To participate, each rider is required to seek sponsors who make a financial contribution to
The Rainbow Society by way of pledges.
We would appreciate having riders pre-register with our office so we can ensure there is enough food for everyone.

The person that brings the most new riders will receive a special prize!

Each participating rider will enjoy coffee and a delicious breakfast, as well as a lunch with hotdogs, hamburgers and cold drinks courtesy of Best Western Denham Inn & Suites in Leduc.
Well water is available for horses.
Please note the ride will proceed "rain or shine". We'll be there - hope to see you too!
