The 20th Annual Trail Ride has been set for Sunday, August 21 2011, at the beautiful Central
Staging Area of the Cooking Lake - Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area near North Cooking Lake. This event was
started in 1992 to grant a wish for a young boy who had cancer. Since then this event has raised over
$176,000.00!
Last year, we had 36 riders enjoying sunny skies and raising an impressive $10,700!
This year we hope to raise $14,000.00 at a cost of $350.00
Registration
Best Western Denham Inn & Suites, Leduc, and Van Houtte, Master Coffee Roaster will be providing a complimentary continental
breakfast, which will take place between 8:30 - 9:30 am.
Registration begins at 9:00 am with the
ride commencing at 10:00 am.
To participate, each rider is required to seek sponsors who make a financial contribution to
The Rainbow Society by way of pledges.
We would appreciate having riders pre-register with our office so we can ensure there is enough food for everyone. Please call Holly Pshyk at 780 469-3306.

Each participating rider will enjoy coffee and a delicious breakfast, as well as a lunch with hotdogs, hamburgers and cold drinks courtesy of Best Western Denham Inn & Suites in Leduc. The Denham Inn has sponsored this event for many years, we truly appreciate their support!
Well water is available for horses.
Please note the ride will proceed "rain or shine". We'll be there - hope to see you too!
